Revisit Your Goals
By Tana M. Mann Easton, Lead Efficiency Engineer
The end of May is a transitional time for many people. With school ending and the shifts this changeover necessitates, it’s a good time to look at any goals or resolutions we set at the beginning of the year to see if we can set any in motion in the summer season.
At the end of May, there are still seven months left in the year. Seven months is a substantial amount of time to get started on any goals or resolutions that we haven’t made any progress on yet. If the summer season feels like it’s going to be hectic with no end to the busyness in sight, now might be a good time to decide that some of our goals won’t be tackled this year and keep them in mind for the future instead. Times of transition are usually good times to try to set new habits in motion, so revisit those goals and resolutions now to see if this summer could be the time when you finally fold that desired habit into your life.
